Tournament in Florence Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 (details and travel schedule to be announced later in the week)

Practice - March 28 at 9:00 a.m.

Florence AAU Tournament April 3 & 4

Mark down on your calendar an upcoming tournament in Florence on April 3 & 4, 2009. No details or travel times are available yet. As soon as Coach Samuel makes this available to me I will post it.

No Practice on Thursday, Next Practice Saturday March 28, 2009 at 9:00

Due to a scheduling conflict with my job we will not practice on Thursday night.

Next Practice will be Saturday Morning at 9:00 a.m. at the YMCA.

Practice Monday, March 23, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.

14U will practice Monday, March 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hartsville YMCA.

Dillon Tournament Results

Our 14U team made a strong showing in the Dillon Tournament.

Hartsville defeated Dillon #2 44-26 on Friday night and the lost in a close one to Greenville, NC 56-50 in a second game on Friday night.

We entered bracket play as the third seed on Saturday and lost a close one to Dillon #1 by two points. We had a chance to win with .07 seconds left but came up just short.

March 21, 2009 Tournament

Be at the Wellness Center in Dillon by 10:30 a.m.

We will play the loser of the 9:00 game at either 11, 12 or 4:00 p.m.

We are not sure what time we will be assigned.

Wear Black Shorts

Bring enough money to eat twice.

March 19, 2009 Schedule

We will practice at the Hartsville YMCA at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

You must get a parent or guardian to fill out the form at the front desk.

You must pay the first payment before we leave on Friday afternoon.

Friday - March 20, 2009 Tournament Schedule

4:00 p.m. Meet at the YMCA if you want to ride the bus

4:15 Bus leaves for Dillon

5:30 Bus arrives at Dillon High School located on Highway 301 N

6:30 Boys 14 U play game at Gordon Elementary located at 926 Perry Avenue (Hopefully we will be given time to warm up so get there early if you do not ride the bus)

8:45 Boys 14 U play game at Wellness Center located at 1647 Commerce Drive

12:00 midnight Bus will arrive back at the YMCA

WHAT YOU NEED FOR FRIDAY'S TRIP

Wear black shorts

Bring $7 for a meal on Friday night

I do not yet have the locations, directions or times but will post those as soon as I get them.

Regular Practice Schedule

We will practice every Monday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hartsville YMCA Gym

We will practice every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hartsville YMCA Gym

Except for tournament dates we will practice on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

March 18-22 Schedule

Our Schedule for March 18-22, 2009 is as follows:

March 18, 2009 AAU Scrimmage vs. Florence AAU 13 7:00 meet at Y Gym Scrimmage begins at 7:30 p.m. Parents and family invited. Admission is $3 adults and $1 kids

*** VERY IMPORTANT - Must pay and get parents to sign forms by March 18 to get to go to tournament in Dillon.

March 19, 2009 Practice at Y Gym from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

March 20-22, 2009 Tournament in Dillon, SC I have not yet received the schedule from YMCA staff. Will post as soon as I have it.
